Where is the conference located?

All seminars, workshops, keynotes and the trade show are located at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, 200 E. Market St. @ Alamo St. in San Antonio. The trade show and seminars will be located in Exhibit Halls C-D of the Convention Center.

Who sponsors the conference?

Athletic Business Publications in Madison, Wis., publisher of Athletic Business magazine.

Who attends the Athletic Business Conference & Expo?

Whether you're an experienced athletic, recreation or fitness administrator or new to the profession, you'll find information that will advance your career at ABC. Attendees come from a wide range of organizations and educational institutions, including colleges and universities, parks and recreation departments and districts, military bases and installations, private sports and recreation centers, YMCAs/YWCAs, JCCs, clubs, corporate fitness centers, high schools, hospital wellness centers, pro teams, resorts, country clubs, police/fire departments, community associations and church recreation centers.

Where should I stay?

Several hotels are part of the conference hotel block, in various price ranges. Hotel and travel information will be posted in early spring.

How can I get the ABC 2008 brochure?

Click on Contact Us, provide your address and select "Send me a full conference brochure." The brochure will be mailed in late July.

I'm bringing my spouse. What can he/she attend?

Free trade show-only badges are available for spouses to visit the trade show, or attend the keynotes. Children are not allowed in keynotes, seminars or on the trade show floor.

Can I attend ICAA and MFA sessions?

ICAA and MFA sessions are free for all ABC attendees.

What type of CEUs are available during the conference?

Click on Seminars for a list of continuing education providers.

Will the speakers provide handouts during the sessions?

Register by November 7 and you'll receive a link to download and print out the session handouts in advance. You'll also receive a CD at the conference that you can take home with you. Some speakers will provide handouts on-site.

Can I use American Express or Discover to register?

Athletic Business only accepts Visa or Mastercard.
