Excellence in Youth Sports AwardsSponsored by NAYS and Athletic Business The National Alliance for Youth Sports' International Youth Sports Congress — the nation's premier youth sports-focused conference featuring more than 500 recreation professionals from around the world — will be held in conjunction with the Athletic Business Conference & Expo once again in 2008. 2008 Excellence in Youth Sports AwardsThe ninth annual Excellence in Youth Sports awards will be presented in conjunction with the Athletic Business-NAYS keynote on Friday, Dec. 5. The Excellence in Youth Sports Awards honor programs that are doing a superior job of conducting diverse activities with a focus on providing safe and positive experiences for all participants — including children, parents and coaches. Developed by the National Alliance for Youth Sports and Athletic Business magazine, the first awards were presented in 2000. The awards will be given to recipients in one or more of the following categories:
